Delhi-NCR Weather Today: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light rain or drizzle in Delhi on Thursday. Morning temperatures are expected to be around 26 Degree Celsius, rising to 33-34 Degree Celsius by afternoon. Humidity will remain high at 70-80 percent, though intermittent showers may provide some relief. Winds are expected to be light, at 5-10 km/h, with 10-20 mm of rain likely in the next 24 hours.
Rain lashed parts of Delhi and the surrounding National Capital Region (NCR) on Wednesday evening. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Delhi’s weather from September 17 to 19 is expected to have a generally cloudy sky with light rain, partly cloudy on September 20, and mainly clear skies from September 21 to 23.
Delhi Weather Forecast
On September 18, temperatures will range between 33-35 Degree Celsius and 23-25 Degree Celsius. The day will be partly cloudy with winds varying from SW 5-10 kmph to NW 10-15 kmph and SE 10-15 kmph, along with very light to light rain at a few places.
On September 19, temperatures are expected to range between 33-35 Degree Celsius and 23-25 Degree Celsius. The sky will be partly cloudy with winds from SE 10-15 kmph, NW 20-25 kmph, and NE 5-10 kmph, accompanied by very light to light rain at isolated places.
On September 20, the maximum temperature is expected to be between 34-36 Degree Celsius, while the minimum will range from 24-26 Degree Celsius. Winds will blow from NW 10-15 kmph in the morning, NW 20-25 kmph by afternoon, and NE 5-10 kmph in the evening under a partly cloudy sky.
On September 21, the maximum temperature will range between 34-36 Degree Celsius, while the minimum will be around 24-26 Degree Celsius. Winds are expected from the northwest at 10-15 kmph in the morning, strengthening to 20-25 kmph by afternoon, and easing to 5-10 kmph in the evening under a mainly clear sky.
On September 22, temperatures are expected to range between 34-36 Degree Celsius during the day and 24-26 Degree Celsius at night. Winds will blow from SE 10-15 kmph in the morning, shift to NW 20-25 kmph by afternoon, and return to SE 5-10 kmph in the evening, with the sky remaining mainly clear.
On September 23, the maximum temperature is expected to be between 34-36 Degree Celsius, while the minimum will range from 23-25 Degree Celsius. Winds will blow from SE 5-10 kmph in the morning, NW 20-25 kmph by afternoon, and NE 5-10 kmph in the evening, with the sky remaining mainly clear.
Delhi-NCR AQI (Air Quality Index)
According to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Delhi’s average Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 117 till 6:30 am on Thursday. In other NCR cities, the AQI stood at 112 in Faridabad, 115 in Gurugram, 106 in Ghaziabad, 125 in Greater Noida, and 109 in Noida. Most parts of the capital reported AQI levels between 100 and 200.
