Karnataka Weather Update: Yellow Alert For Bengaluru; IMD Forecasts Light To Moderate Rain In 20 Districts | Check Forecast

Bengaluru Weather: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rain in several districts of Karnataka, including the capital, till Sunday. A yellow alert has been issued for the state capital and nearby districts on Thursday. The maximum temperature is expected to settle around 28 Degree Celsius, while the minimum may hover near 20 Degree Celsius. From Monday, rainfall activity is likely to intensify in the city.

"Scattered to widespread light to moderate rains with isolated heavy rains are likely over the Cauvery basin on 17th & 18th September and isolated to scattered light to moderate rains are likely over the remaining days of the forecasted period," Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre wrote on X on Wednesday.

Karnataka Districts To Receive Rainfall 

The Meteorological Department has forecast rainfall in more than 20 districts of Karnataka, including Bengaluru, till September 24. A yellow alert has been issued for Dakshina Kannada, Uttara Kannada, Udupi, Bidar, Kalaburagi, Chikkaballapur, Kolar, and Tumkur. Districts such as Vijayanagar, Shivamogga, Ramanagara, Mysuru, Mandya, Kodagu, Hassan, Davangere, Chitradurga, Chikkamagaluru, Chamarajanagar, Bengaluru Rural, Bengaluru Urban, Yadgir, Raichur, Koppal, Haveri, Gadag, Dharwad, and Belagavi are expected to witness moderate rainfall.

On September 18, the weather will remain generally cloudy with light rain. The temperature is expected to be around 28 /20 Degree Celsius, with humidity levels at 85/65.

On September 19, the sky will remain generally cloudy with light rain. The temperature is likely to be around 28 /20 Degree Celsius, with humidity levels at 85/65.

On September 20, the weather will be generally cloudy with light rain. The temperature is expected to hover around 28 /20 Degree Celsius, with humidity levels at 80/65.

On September 21 , the forecast indicated a cloudy sky with light rain. The temperature is likely to be around 28 /20 Degree Celsius.

On September 22, the forecast suggested a generally cloudy sky with light rain. The temperature is expected to be around 28/20 Degree Celsius.

On September 23, the forecast predicted rain with temperatures around 28/20 Degree Celsius.
