Telangana Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday issued a yellow alert for heavy rainfall in several districts of Telangana, including Adilabad, Nirmal, Sangareddy, Siddhipet, Hyderabad, Medak, Jagtial, Kamareddy and Mahabubnagar. Heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places in these districts.

The weather department has advised residents to stay prepared and anticipate possible traffic delays due to heavy rainfall. Farmers in the rain-fed regions have also been advised to stay alert for heavy rainfall as it could affect crops.

Telangana Weather Forecast: THESE Districts On Heavy Rain Alert

- According to the latest forecast by IMD, heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Komuram Bheem, Asifabad, Jagtial, Siddhipet, Vikarabed, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar, and Nagarkurnool.

- Hyderabad woke up to cloudy skies on Wednesday, with the IMD forecasting moderate to heavy rainfall accompanied by generally cloudy skies till September 20.

- The MeT department has also warned of thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds with speeds of 30-40 kmph at isolated places in Telangana.

- Heavy rainfall in Hyderabad and other parts of Telangana can lead to waterlogging and disruption of daily activities.

- Temperatures are likely to hover around 30-32 degrees Celsius with humidity levels remaining higher.

- The IMD has also forecast that the rainfall activity is likely to decrease by the weekend, with a forecast of light to moderate rainfall in place.
