JE News Desk: Popular comedian and YouTuber from Chhattisgarh, Devraj Patel, (21) died after meeting an accident on Monday. According to media reports, Devraj was travelling to Raipur to film a comedy video when the terrible incident took place. 

Devraj rose to fame after his meme went viral on social media. He was best known for his 'Dil Se Bura Lagta Hai' dialogue in viral reels. He has over 4 lakh subscribers on YouTube.

Reportedly, Devraj met with a road accident today near Labhandi in the capital Raipur where he died. The accident happened after his car collided with an uncontrolled high-speed truck. This incident was reported in the Khamhardih police station area.

Following his death, his fans began posting condolences on social media. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel also shared an old video of Devraj on his official Twitter account and mourned his death.

"Devraj Patel, who made his place among crores of people with 'Dil Se Bura Lagta Hai', who made us all laugh, left us today. The loss of amazing talent at this young age is very sad. May God give strength to his family and loved ones to bear this loss. Om Shanti," the CM tweeted in Hindi.

Who Was Devraj Patel?

Devraj Patel, a 21-year-old boy who was a resident of the Mahasamund district went viral on social media, and he became famous overnight. Reportedly, he was in college pursuing a BBA. After gaining popularity, he shifted to Raipur district. He was a resident of Daab Pali village and his whole family also lives in the village. Father Ghanshyam Patel does farming.

He was noted after he starred in the 'Dhindhora' web series along with YouTuber Bhuvan Bam. In this web series, Devraj's 'Dil se bura lagta hai bhai' dialogue ('Dil se bura lagta hai bhai' dialogue) became quite famous. Following that, he started making comedy videos and gained millions of subscribers on YouTube and millions of followers on social media. He was also acquainted with Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel after becoming popular.
