YouTuber and Big Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav's father has claimed that two out of the three gunmen involved in the firing incident at their residence were clearly in the CCTV footage. During the attack, Yadav’s caretaker and family members, including his father, Ram Avtar Yadav, were present inside the house.

Elvish Yadav’s home in Gurugram's Sector 57 was attacked on Sunday morning by three masked miscreants. The gunmen fired more than two dozen shots and managed to escape from the area.

“The police administration is doing its job well. Our family was present at home when the Firing incident happened. I was asleep when it occurred. We believe the police are working properly. Around 25-30 rounds were fired,” Ram Avtar Yadav told PTI.

“In the CCTV footage, three miscreants can be seen, out of which two are clearly visible,” he further added.

The incident took place at around 5:30 am, said Sandeep Kumar, PRO Gurugram Police, as per news agency ANI. No one was injured in the incident.

Who Is Elvish Yadav

With a massive fan following on social media, Elvish Yadav entered the reality show Bigg Boss OTT 2. He made history by winning the title as a first wild card. This was followed by his participation in MTV Roadies XX as a gang leader, where Kushal Tanwar aka Gullu, from his gang was crowned as the winner of the show. He was recently seen in Colors TV's cooking-based show Laughter Chefs - Unlimited Entertainment 2.

This is not the first time Elvish Yadav has faced such threats. In 2023, he received an extortion demand of Rs 1 crore while he was in London. The YouTuber shared that he got a WhatsApp message warning that he would be killed if he did not pay the amount. The case made headlines, but the police acted swiftly. Within six hours, the accused was caught in Gujarat. The man, later identified as an RTO agent, had accessed Elvish’s number through his car registration. Elvish later revealed details of this incident while speaking on Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa’s podcast.

In 2024, Elvish was again threatened, this time during the Entertainers Cricket League in Delhi. He was supposed to play against comedian Munawar Faruqui. Though the two were seen joking before the match, Elvish reportedly received death threats shortly after. Authorities took the situation seriously, evacuating the stadium and sealing the gates. The match was played without any audience to ensure his safety.
