Mobile internet services, bulk SMS, and all dongle services, except voice calls, will be suspended in the districts of Ambala, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Jind, Hisar, Fatehabad, and Sirsa in Haryana. The suspension will be effective from 6 am on February 11th to 11:59 pm on February 13th. This decision comes amid ongoing farmers' protests in the region.

The Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) and the Kisan Mazdoor Morcha had declared a 'Delhi Chalo' march scheduled for February 13. Over 200 farmers' unions plan to push the Centre to accept several demands, including the enactment of a law to guarantee a minimum support price (MSP) for crops. However, the SKM has called for a 'bandh' on February 16 instead of participating in the 'Delhi Chalo' march.

Farmers, dissatisfied with the government's response, have listed 10 demands and plan to lead a march to Delhi on February 13th. These demands include a legal guarantee for minimum support price (MSP), implementation of the Swaminathan Commission's recommendations, pensions for farmers and farm laborers, farm debt waiver, withdrawal of police cases, and justice for victims of the Lakhimpur Kheri violence.

The Ambala district magistrate has enforced Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) across the district. Additionally, the district administration has urged 400 village 'Sarpanches' to refrain from participating in the protest.

Punjab police have directed petrol pump dealers in Ambala to refrain from giving fuel to vehicles displaying farmer's union flags.

Haryana Police DGP, Shatrujeet Kapur, urged for peace and tranquility in a social media post, warning of strict action against those who disrupt peace.

Earlier, three union ministers, including Piyush Goyal, Arjun Munda, and Nityanand Rai, convened a meeting with farmer organisation leaders in Chandigarh amid ongoing protests in Delhi-NCR. The central team's objective was to address the concerns of the farmers who are planning a 'Delhi Chalo' march.
