Flight Cancellation Rules: Popular Indian air carrier IndiGo has been facing a technical difficulty for the past few days, which has caused severe disruptions in the flight schedules of several passengers. On Thursday, 300 IndiGo flights were cancelled, affecting passengers nationwide.
Earlier on Thursday morning, December 4, Delhi saw more than 95 flight cancellations, while Bengaluru experienced about 50, including 41 arrivals. Mumbai reported 85 cancellations, and Hyderabad recorded 70.
In addition, there were cancellations at other airports, sources told PTI. Based on data from six key airports, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad, IndiGo's on-time performance (OTP) nosedived to 19.7 per cent on Wednesday, down from 35 per cent on December 2.

You are also eligible for alternative transportation, including rebooking on other airlines.
If you do not wish to travel through the ticket, then you are entitled to a 100 per cent subject to the specific rules of the airlines.
