Bihar Infiltration Issue: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai said the process of ousting infiltrators from Bihar will begin soon, asserting that the Central government is serious about the issue and a detailed roadmap is being prepared.

First Phase Of Action In Seemanchal

The Union Minister, who attended the BJP's Jhanjharpur District Training Camp program held in Madhepur, Madhubani district, said that illegal constructions in the Seemanchal region will be demolished in the first phase. The names of infiltrators have also been removed from the voter list through Special Intensive Review (SIR), the BJP leader said. He informed that Union Home Minister Amit Shah had already undertaken a three-day tour of the Seemanchal region and was closely reviewing the issue.

BSF Begins Fencing In Border Area

Rai said the BJP's victory in West Bengal will be a blow to the politics of appeasement and anarchy there. He said that as soon as BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari became the chief minister, the BSF's fencing work on the Bangladesh border gained momentum.

On the question of a timeframe for deporting infiltrators from Bihar, the Union Minister avoided giving a clear answer, saying the process of identifying illegal immigrants is underway.

Several BJP leaders, including former MP Virendra Kumar Chaudhary, MLA and former minister Vinod Narayan Jha, former MLA Haribhushan Thakur Bachhaul, and BJP district president Bachcha Babu Kamat, were present at the party event.

Rai's announcement reflects the Centre's plan, particularly after Union Home Minister Amit Shah's visit to the region before and after the elections.

The Union Minister also responded to the Opposition's questions regarding EVMs. He said that the Opposition is making allegations because they no longer get a chance to rig the ballot. He questioned that when elections are held in Kerala and Tamil Nadu, EVMs are correct, but when the NDA alliance wins, the opposition starts questioning EVMs.
