After a break of a few days, the rain has once again picked up in Gujarat. As per the weather forecast released by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), steady rain is expected in the state for the next few days, prompting the weather department to issue an alert in several districts. 

Gujarat Weather Today: Orange Alert In Saurashtra Districts

The weather department has predicted very heavy rain in four districts of Saurashtra on Monday, placing an orange alert in these districts. As per the weather forecast, there is a possibility of very heavy rainfall in Jamnagar, Porbandar, Junagadh and Dwarka of Saurashtra on Monday. While Rajkot, Morbi, Gir Somnath, Diu and Kutch are also expected to receive heavy rainfall.

The weather department has predicted light to moderate rain in Banaskantha, Patan, Mehsana, Sabarkantha, Gandhinagar, Aravalli, Kheda, Ahmedabad, Anand, Panchmahal, Dahod, and Mahisagar in North Gujarat. 

As per the weather forecast, the various parts of the state are expected to receive rainfall till July 27.

Gujarat Weather Forecast: Rainfall To Continue Till July 27

The weather forecast indicates a possibility of rain at various places in several districts of Gujarat on July 22. The districts likely to experience rainfall include Panchmahal, Dahod, Mahisagar, Vadodara, Banaskantha, Patan, Mehsana, Sabarkantha, Gandhinagar, Aravalli, Kheda, Ahmedabad, Anand, Bharuch, Surat, Dang, Tapi, Rajkot, Jamnagar, Porbandar, Junagadh, Navsari, Valsad, Surendranagar, and Amreli.

Heavy Rain Warning For July 23-27

According to the Meteorological Department, many districts in Gujarat are expected to experience light to heavy rainfall from July 23 to July 27. The affected districts include Ahmedabad, Panchmahal, Banaskantha, Patan, Mehsana, Sabarkantha, Gandhinagar, Aravalli, Kheda, Dahod, and Mahisagar.
