Gurugram Crime Hotspots: Gurugram police have pinpointed several crime hotspots linked to snatching, vehicle theft, eve-teasing and street brawls. These areas fall under the jurisdiction of ten police stations, including Sohna City, Sectors 10A, 50, 53, 14, 29, Shivaji Nagar, Palam Vihar and Sadar. According to police data, the West Zone reports the highest number of incidents, while the East Zone follows closely behind. The Manesar Zone records the fewest cases.

According to a Hindustan Times report, the hotspots were identified following an intensive 11-month study of crime trends, which revealed several factors contributing to the elevated crime rates. Varun Dahiya, the Assistant Commissioner of Police (Crime), stated the need for increased police presence and improved patrolling in certain areas. He acknowledged that issues such as poorly lit spots and a lack of CCTV cameras are significant concerns.
