Gwalior-Agra Expressway, which will connect Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior with Agra in Uttar Pradesh will enhance the connectivity between Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh. The 88.4 km expressway, aims to reduce the travel time between Agra and Gwalior from 2-3 hours to just one hour.

According to media reports, the pre-construction of the Gwalior-Agra Expressway, which covers 550 hectares of land, is almost done. The expressway will also provide a major boost to tourism as it will make travelling easier and faster.

Gwalior-Agra Expressway is being made with a total cost of Rs 4,613 crore and it will also connect to Agra-Lucknow, Bundelkhand, and Delhi-Mumbai Expressways. With the connectivity, places including Jhansi, Shivpuri, Morena, Datia, and Gwalior, will be more accessible.

The Gwalior-Agra Greenfield Expressway is a key part of a larger project aimed at enhancing advanced road infrastructure connecting Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh. When finished, it will offer a quicker and more efficient route, ensuring smoother traffic movement between the states.

The Gwalior-Agra Expressway is likely to be completed by 2027.

The Akshardham and Eastern Peripheral Expressway (EPE) 32-km-stretch of the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway, covering Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, will be ready for opening in the first week of January 2025. This section was initially to be opened by March 2024, but was delayed due to a number of reasons.
