Happy Dussehra 2024: Extending his greetings to the nation on the festivities of Vijayadashami and Dussehra, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished the blessings of Maa Durga and Lord Shri Ram to the countrymen. Taking to the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), PM Modi wished everyone the victory in every sphere of life.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also extended his best and wished a happy Dussehra to every countryman. Taking to X, he wrote: "Heartiest greetings of Vijayadashami to all the countrymen."

"A symbol of the victory of Dharma over Adharma and truth over falsehood, this festival of Vijayadashami inspires everyone to eliminate the evils within themselves and follow the path of Dharma and humanity. May Lord Shri Ram bless everyone. Jai Shri Ram!," he added.

Meanwhile, Congress president and MP, Mallikarjun Kharge also greeted their fellow countrymen on the joyous occasion of the festivals.

"Warm greetings on the joyous occasion of Dusshera, celebrated across various parts of the country. Dussehra is a symbol of India’s unity in diversity and the spirit of shared togetherness. The festival reminds us of the timeless message of the triumph of good over evil, inspiring hope for a brighter future. May the spirit of amity, fraternity, harmony, and goodness prevail all around," the Kharge posted on X.
