Following his return from Delhi, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced the allocation of ministerial portfolios late Sunday night. CM Saini has retained several key portfolios, including Home, Finance, CID, Planning and Excise, among a total of 12 departments. In the previous government, there were significant controversies surrounding the CID department, leading to its designation as a separate entity, which the Chief Minister has chosen to helm himself.

In the new allocation, Cabinet Minister Anil Vij has been given the responsibility for three departments: Power, Transport, and labour. Vipul Goel has been entrusted with the Urban Local Bodies, Revenue and Disaster Management departments. Meanwhile, Krishna Lal Panwar will oversee Development & Panchayats and Rao Narbir will manage Industries and Environment.
