Haryana Murder: A one-year-old boy was kidnapped and strangled to death by his mother’s Instagram friend. The Victim’s body was recovered late Saturday night in bushes near Sukhomajri village in Haryana’s Panchkula.
The accused, identified as Pnjore resident Ajay, has been arrested. The police are also questioning the victim’s mother for her possible involvement. As per the investigation, victim Rivansh’s mother and the accused Ajay recently connected on Instagram and had been meeting for some time. The involvement of a mother’s friend has raised conspiracy suspicions.

The accused posed as the child’s father and took him from the creche in Sector 12-A on Saturday morning. The child’s body has been sent for a post-mortem to ascertain the cause of death.
While further investigation is underway, and police are investigating CCTV footage to trace the movements of the accused, a case has been registered against the accused in the relevant section of BNS.
Mumbai College Professor Stabbed At Station
In another case of murder, which is rampant across the country, A 33-year-old college professor from Mumbai was stabbed to death at Malad railway station on Saturday evening following a brief argument with a fellow passenger while alighting from a local train.
As per a report released by the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), Haryana recorded 1,042 murders, with an average of around 3.4 per cent per lakh, or more than 2.5 murders per day during the year 2023.
