As March ends, the summer heat sets in, increasing electricity consumption and putting pressure on power department employees to ensure an uninterrupted supply. To address this, the Atali electricity subdivision has begun preparations for enhanced power distribution before the peak summer months.

In Atali, one kilometer of new wiring and an 11-kilometer-long cable will replace the aging infrastructure before April. Additionally, 25 new transformers of 100 KVA will be installed. The Atali subdivision serves around 27,000 consumers across 44 villages, including approximately 3,500 agricultural and 100 industrial connections.

The area is powered by 33 KV substations in Bajad, Mahasar, Bhilwara, and Kanti, all linked to the 132 KV Atali substation. The network also includes 10 RDS feeders and 40 agricultural feeders.

Deepak Kumar, SDO of the Atali Electricity Corporation, stated that before the summer season, all JEs and linemen have been directed to inspect and maintain their respective power lines. Estimates have been prepared to address transformer and line issues, ensuring smooth electricity supply.

Special measures include integrating the frequently faulty Uninda feeder with the 33 KV Bajad Power House, which will improve power stability in villages like Uninda, Dhannouda, Chandpura, and Sujapur.

JE Narendra Kumar is also working on dividing Atali City into two zones to optimise supply. He emphasised that while the corporation is committed to providing uninterrupted electricity, consumer cooperation is essential. He urged residents to report electricity theft to help maintain efficient service.
