While spells of rain are expected till next week, it is going to be light to moderate as no severe weather conditions have been anticipated.

According to the weather forecast by the India Meteorological Department, the state is likely to witness thunderstorms with light to moderate rain in isolated places, while other areas are expected to see a clear day. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to range between 32 degrees Celsius and 21 degrees Celsius.

Light to moderate rain with thunderstorms at isolated places is expected to remain in place til Wednesday, September 10. According to the weather department's data, Himachal Pradesh is likely to experience a wet September, with rain predicted for around 8 to 15 days throughout the month. This means that both locals and tourists will need to carry umbrellas and rubber shoes to navigate the region.

Due to the likelihood of slippery roads and landslides on hilly terrain, caution will be essential. The alert for the hilly areas indicates a risk of landslides and roadblocks, requiring tourists to exercise prudence while trekking and engaging in outdoor activities.
