Holi celebrations 2025: People immersed themselves in a festive mood ahead of Holi celebrations. The weather is also friendly for outdoor activities in Delhi. According to the India Meteorological Department (MeT), the national capital on Thursday recorded a minimum temperature of 18.6 degrees Celsius, with the weather department predicting a partly cloudy sky with the possibility of drizzle towards the night.

The humidity at 8.30 am was 74 per cent and the maximum temperature is expected to settle around 34 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, people are keen to know about the weather forecast on Holi and day after Holi that is on March 14 and 15.

Here's IMD's weather forecast:

March 14 (Holi):

Minimum Temperature: 17 degrees Celsius
Maximum Temperature: 33 degrees Celsius

Forecast: Generally cloudy sky with light rain or drizzle

Post Holi celebration (March 15):

Minimum Temperature: 16 degrees Celsius
Maximum Temperature: 33 degrees Celsius

Forecast: Generally cloudy sky with light rain or drizzle

If IMD's prediction comes true, people will have natural rains which would be a cherry on the cake as water sprinkling is a part of Holi celebrations.

Air quality in Delhi

The air quality was recorded in the moderate category with the AQI settling at 159 at 9 am, according to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).

An AQI between zero and 50 is considered good, 51 and 100 satisfactory, 101 and 200 moderate, 201 and 300 poor, 301 and 400 very poor, and 401 and 500 severe.
