India and Pakistan tensions escalated after Pakistan attempted drone attacks on several locations in India on the intervening night of May 8 and May 9, which India neutralised successfully, preventing them from exploding on the land.

Press Information Bureau’s fact-checking team has continuously been checking fabricated news and debunking misinformation from the last few days.

From last night to morning on Friday, PIB debunked a series of misleading and false claims that surfaced on social media.
