IRCTC Religious Tourism Package: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has come up with an innovative initiative to offer a 10-day South India pilgrimage package under the name "Sri Rameswaram–Tirupati Dakshin Darshan Yatra”. The package will take you on a spiritual journey to several religious places in South India.

The package, launched under the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train initiative, offers a spiritual journey through South India's most revered sites, featuring iconic pilgrimages and tourist destinations like Tirupati and Ramanathaswamy Temple.
 

IRCTC Religious Tourism: Schedule

The South India religious tourism package by the IRCTC includes 9 nights and 10 days and will start in November.
What are the dates- the tour will begin on November 7, 2025, and conclude on November 16, 2025.
 

IRCTC Religious Tour Itinerary: List Of Places

The Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train will embark on a sacred journey from Tirupati on November 7, starting with the Lord Venkateswara Swamy Temple and Goddess Padmavati Temple.
The journey will continue with visits to iconic temples, including Rameshwaram's Ramanathaswamy Temple and the spiritually significant Dhanushkodi.
In Madurai, travellers will explore the stunning Meenakshi Amman Temple, renowned for its Dravidian architecture.
 
 
The train will then proceed to Kanyakumari, India's southernmost point, where devotees can visit the Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Gandhi Mandapam, and the Kanyakumari Temple.
The final destination of this spiritual journey will be Thiruvananthapuram, where travellers can visit the historic Padmanabhaswamy Temple and relax on the beautiful Kovalam Beach.
