Jasdeep Singh Gill:  Radha Soami Satsang Beas (RSSB), a spiritual organisation based out in Punjab's Amritsar, today announced a change in leadership with the outgoing chief Gurinder Singh Dillon picking a former corporate strategist and IIT graduate Jasdeep Singh Gill as his successor. Jasdeep, a close relative of Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon, will immediately assume the charge as the next head of the sect, an official communique stated.

Unverified reports stated that Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon's decision to announce an heir to the global organisation came as he has been struggling with poor health and age-related ailments, leaving him unable to perform the Satsangs, addresses and other tasks. In its official statement, the Radha Soami Satsang Beas said that as soon as he assumes charge, Gill will have the authority to give the holy initiation (Naam Daan) to the followers and assume other responsibilities.

"Jasdeep Singh Gill shall also succeed Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon as the Sant Satguru of Radha Soami Satsang Beas Society and will have the authority of giving Initiation (Naam)," the release read.

Who Is Jasdeep Singh Gill

A close relative to Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon, Jasdeep Singh has been residing at the Beas establishment with his family for nearly five decades. Born in Punjab's Moga on March 15, 1979, his father Sukhdev Singh Gill is a retired army Colonel.

The 45-year-old Jasdeep Singh Gill also boasts of impressive academic achievements. He completed his B.Tech and M.Tech from IIT Delhi and went on to pursue a PhD from Cambridge University.

Jasdeep Singh Gill: From Corporate Strategist To Spiritual Leader

Before he joined the sect's activities full-time on May 31, 2024, Jasdeep was working as a corporate strategist in the healthcare industry. Working as the Chief Strategy Officer for the pharmaceutical company Cipla since 2019, Jasdeep Singh Gill resigned from his senior management role in May 2024.

He was also associated with Aetheris and Achira Labs Private Limited as a Board Observer and served as a Board Member for Wellthy Therapeutics until March 2024. Before this, he worked as the Executive Assistant to the CEO at Ranbaxy and served as the Head and Chairman at Cambridge University Entrepreneur.
