Jharkhand Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday stated that several districts of Jharkhand are likely to receive light to heavy rainfall for the next few days. The weather department stated that apart from rainfall, these districts are also expected to witness thunderstorms and gusty winds with speeds of 50-60 kmph. The rainfall is likely to provide relief from the scorching heat by reducing the temperature by two to four degrees Celsius. The weather department has advised the residents to follow the guidelines and limit their outings to avoid any inconveniences.

While providing details, the weather department stated that multiple regions of Jharkhand are likely to receive heavy rainfall till July 28. The IMD stated that several districts of the state, including Ranchi, Dhanbad, Jamtara, and Deoghar, are likely to witness light to heavy rainfall for the next few days. The weather department stated that heavy rain is likely in areas of the northeastern parts. However, the IMD also stated that while the rainfall is likely to provide relief from the heat, it will also lead to other issues, including waterlogging and power outages.
