Jharkhand Weather Today: The Meteorological Center, Ranchi has issued an orange alert for heavy rain and thunderstorms in Jharkhand districts for Tuesday. In the forecast, it is stated that except the north-eastern parts of the state which include Deoghar, Dumka, Godda, Pakur, Jamtara, Giridih, Dhanbad and Sahibganj, there is a possibility of strong wind blowing at a speed of 50 to 60 km per hour along with thunder and lightning in the rest of the state today.There is a possibility of rain and thunderstorm in Ranchi, Lohardaga, Gumla, Simdega, Palamu, Latehar, Garhwa, West Singhbhum, Saraikela Kharsawan, East Singhbhum, Hazaribagh, Chatra, Koderma, Bokaro, Khunti and Ramgarh.

Additionally, a yellow alert has been issued for strong winds with thunderstorms in all the districts of the state on April 30, May 1 and 2. Meteorologist Abhishek Anand said that there is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms at some places in the state from April 29 to May 4.

Jharkhand's capital Ranchi, remained partly cloudy throughout the day on Monday. Two days ago, the temperature in Ranchi reached 39 degrees Celsius, which has now dropped to 29.8 degrees Celsius.

In Jharkhand, light rain occurred at some places in the state during the last 24 hours, as per jagran.com. The highest rainfall of 3.7 mm was recorded in Patan of Palamu. The highest maximum temperature of 38.1 degree Celsius was recorded in Garhwa and the lowest minimum temperature of 18 degree Celsius was recorded in Latehar. The maximum temperature of the capital Ranchi was 29.8 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature was 21.2 degree Celsius.
