Chandigarh Police issued a traffic advisory in view of Punjabi singer Karan Aujla's live concert on Saturday. Authorities announced restrictions and diversions near the Exhibition Ground in Sector 34, where the live concert will be held tonight. The measures will be effective from 4 pm and are aimed at managing traffic and ensuring public convenience during the event, the advisory stated. 

Key road closures include the stretch from Sector 33/34 light point to Sector 34/35 traffic lights, accessible only to vehicles of ticket holders after 5 pm. Similarly, the route from Sham Mall to Polka Turn in Sector 34 will remain restricted for general traffic from 5 pm to 10 pm.

Traffic diversions will impact routes from 44/45/33/34 Chowk towards 33/45 Road, the 34/35 light point to the dispensary turn and Bharti School T-point to the 33/45 light point. Commuters have been advised to use alternative routes near Sector 34 to avoid congestion. Chandigarh Police also added that emergency and medical services, including hearse vans, will be prioritised for unrestricted passage.

Karan Aujla Chandigarh Concert Parking Spaces  

Strict parking arrangements have also been implemented, with 10 parking zones and a multi-level parking facility in Sector 17 allocated for concertgoers. Ticket holders must adhere to parking instructions based on designated zones and wristband colours, following a first-come, first-served protocol.

The traffic advisory and security arrangements are expected to streamline the movement and ensure smooth proceedings during the concert hours. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early and cooperate with the authorities to minimize inconvenience.
