Khan Sir News: Bihar police on Saturday debunked rumours regarding the arrest of tutor and YouTuber Khan Sir amid BPSC aspirant's protest. The police confirmed that Khan sir was not arrested, and he had gone to a police station voluntarily to show support for the students who got arrested during the protest near the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) office. 

Anu Kumari, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), Sachiwalay-1, stated that people did spread much fake information regarding the police action on the protestors, especially the arrest of famous Khan sir. She further warned that legal action would be taken against the social media handle 'Khan Global Studies' for propagating fake information regarding the arrest of Khan sir.

"Police have initiated the process of taking legal action against social media handle 'Khan Global Studies' for spreading misinformation about the arrest of Khan Sir. It's baseless... he has not been arrested," Kumari was quoted as saying by PTI. "People associated with the social media handle are demanding the release of Khan Sir through various posts since this morning," she added. 

Patna Police clarified that Khand sir visited the Gardani Bagh police station after talking to the protestors who staged a dharna in the locality. The police further informed that he was asked to leave the police station and was dropped near his car in a police vehicle, upon his request.

"He was repeatedly asked to leave the police station. On this, he requested personnel of the Gardani Bagh police station to drop him in a police vehicle near his car parked near Atal Path. As requested, he was taken in the police vehicle to the spot where his car was parked. He was neither detained nor arrested," she stated.

The BPSC aspirants protest escalated after state police used force to disperse the aspirants who gathered outside the BPSC office in Patna. The aspirants were protesting the recent changes in the rules for the next BPSC Preliminary Examination scheduled for December 13.
