Chhattisgarh caretaker chief minister and Congress leader Bhupesh Baghel on Saturday took a jibe at the BJP over the impending selection of the chief ministers in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan and said that the question has become as suspenseful as that of the popular show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati'.
"We are eagerly waiting to know who will be the Chief Minister. Just like 'Kaun Banega Crorepati', similarly this question of 'Kaun Banega CM' is being raised in three states," Baghel was quoted as saying by the news agency ANI.

Earlier in the day, Rajasthan caretaker chief minister Ashok Gehlot criticised the BJP for the delay and alleged that there is a lack of discipline within the party.

"There is no discipline in this party. If we had done the same, I don't know what allegations they would have levelled against us and misled people. They polarized the polls... We will cooperate with the new government," Gehlot said.
The results of the Assembly elections in four states including Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Telangana were declared on December 3. The BJP secured victory in three Hindi heartland states while the Congress won the elections in Telangana.
Meanwhile, Revanth Reddy was sworn in as the chief minister of Telangana on December 7 and the ministers in his party got their portfolios. While the BJP has not yet announced its chief ministers for the three states.

The saffron party has appointed observers for the three states to start the process of selecting leaders of the legislative party. Union ministers Arjun Munda and Sarbananda Sonowal, along with BJP general secretary Dushyant Gautam have been appointed as observers for Chhattisgarh.
The party has appointed Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar Asha Lakra and Rajya Sabha MP K Laxman as observers for Madhya Pradesh. Union Minister Rajnath Singh, party general secretary Vinod Tadwe, and senior Rajya Sabha MP Saroj Pande have been appointed as Rajasthan observers.

Amid a war of words between Congress and BJP over the delay in naming chief ministers in three states, Union Minister Anurag Thankur stated that names will be disclosed on Monday.
"We will fulfil Ashok Gehlotji's wish on Monday. Rajasthan has witnessed corruption, nepotism and inner clashes during his five-year rule. He should sit peacefully now," Thakur said.
