Kerala Horror: A Kerala couple has been arrested for torturing two men after inviting them to their house on separate occasions. The couple brutally assaulted a man from Neelamperoor in Alappuzha district on September 1 and another one from Ranni in Pathanamthitta district on September 5

The accused have been identified as Jayesh and Reshmi. They are residents of Charalakunnu near Koipuram, news agency PTI reported. 

As per an Indian Express report, Reshma was allegedly involved in a relationship with both the victims. Discovering the affair, Jayesh planned to take revenge.

Details Of First Victim

According to the FIR, the first victim was a 19-year-old boy from Neelamperoor.

On September 1, the boy was “tied up, threatened with a dagger, beaten with an iron rod, assaulted with a cycle chain, and attacked with a cutting plier."

According to a PTI report, the couple pepper-sprayed his genitals, took away Rs 19,000 from his wallet and two mobile phones. They also warned him against reporting the incident. The boy was dropped at an autorickshaw stand after the assault.

Details Of Second Victim

The second victim was assaulted on September 5. As per PTI, the man was beaten with an iron rod and stapled at 23 locations on the body, including his genitals. The couple also took away his mobile phone and money. The victim was then dropped in an isolated area.

“Initially, he gave a false account that he was attacked by unidentified persons. But when taken into confidence, he revealed that Jayesh and Reshmi were behind the torture,“ an officer from Aranmula police station said, as quoted by PTI.

“Whether they targeted more victims remains to be investigated. One of the victims claimed they were assaulted as part of a black magic ritual, but this needs to be verified,“ the officer further stated.
