Kochi Rains:  Knee-deep water filled the streets of Kerala’s Kochi on Wednesday evening within an hour of rainfall. A lot of water seeped into shops and homes in a few low-lying areas. Many cars were observed in the Kakkanad Infopark drenched in rainwater, which caused issues for the employees. Waterlogging occurred in several low-lying areas, which frustrated commuters as traffic moved slowly.

The worst affected areas were a few locations in Kadavantra, MG Road, Vythila, Edappally, Panampally Nagar, KSRTC Bus Stand, and Info Park, according to local news channel Manorama News.

Due to road construction for national highway widening, commuters in Edappally had to endure several hours of traffic delays. Two-wheeler riders found it challenging due to the area's several sections of flooded roads.
