Kota Dussehra Mela: In an unfortunate incident, an elephant carrying Lord Laxminarayan's idol lost control at the Dussehra fair in Kota, Rajasthan, causing panic. The elephant charged towards the crowd despite the mahout's efforts, leading people to scramble for safety.
Some jumped over barricades, and a few fell in the chaos. Fortunately, no one was trampled, but the elephant did knock down an electric pole. The incident could have been disastrous if people had been crushed under its feet.
