Ladli Behna Yojana 29th Instalment: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Sunday disbursed Rs 1,541 crore directly in the bank accounts of over 1.26 lakh women beneficiaries as part of Ladli Behna Yojana. Addressing a public gathering in Sheopur, Yadav also announced a hike in the monthly financial assistance provided to the women beneficiaries under the scheme.

Starting this month, the Madhya Pradesh government will deposit Rs 1,500 in the bank accounts of eligible women beneficiaries under the Ladli Behna Yojana, up from the previous Rs 1,250 financial aid.

He further hinted at additional benefits for women, stating that they can expect "more good news" ahead of Bhai Dooj and Diwali festivals. The officials said that this was the 29th instalment of Ladli Behna Yojana, benefitting 1.26 crore women across the state. The amount was disbursed with a single click during the event, reflecting the Madhya Pradesh government’s commitment to women's empowerment.

During the event, the Chief Minister also inaugurated and laid foundation stones for key developmental projects worth over Rs 532 crore. He emphasised that the welfare of farmers, women, youth, and the underprivileged remains the top priority for his government.

Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, Yadav said, “special attention is being given to these sections.”

CM Yadav urged farmers not to sell their land, stating, “In the coming years, this land will become many times more valuable. A new era of prosperity is about to begin for farmers.” Reaffirming his commitment to the welfare of farmers, he said, “The state has ensured a procurement price of Rs 2,600 per quintal for wheat along with a bonus, while schemes like Bhavantar are being implemented to strengthen farmers' economic condition.”
