In a bizarre turn of events, a young man's audacious attempt to impersonate his girlfriend during a multi-purpose health workers exam in Punjab's Faridkot ended in a comedic spectacle. The exam, conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences at DAV Public School in Kotkapura on January 7, took an unexpected turn when Angrez Singh from Fazilka decided to assume the identity of his girlfriend, Paramjit Kaur.

Decked out in red bangles, a bindi, lipstick, and a ladies' suit, Angrez Singh went to great lengths in his impersonation effort. However, university officials caught his act and immediately filed a complaint with the police suspecting the possibility of involvement in a larger network.

Angrez Singh had even gone the extra mile, using fake voter and Aadhar cards to substantiate his claim of being Paramjit Kaur. The elaborate plan, however, hit a snag when his fingerprints failed to match those of the genuine candidate on the biometric device.

As a result of the failed impersonation, Paramjit Kaur, the actual candidate, had her application rejected by the administration. Meanwhile, legal action has been initiated against Angrez Singh for his audacious and unsuccessful attempt to outsmart the exam officials.

"We received a complaint from Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, and we are currently investigating the matter. We will take appropriate action after completing our inquiry," Faroidkot SP Jasmeet Singh said.
