Lok Sabha Elections 2024: The Congress party on Saturday released its latest list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha election. The list contains the names of 16 Congress Lok Sabha candidates, including Himachal Pradesh minister Vikramaditya Singh, who has been fielded from the Mandi constituency against BJP leader and actress Kangana Ranaut. Vikramaditya Singh's mother and Himachal Pradesh Congress unit chief Pratibha Singh is the incumbent Lok Sabha MP from Mandi.

Notably, the Mandi Lok Sabha constituency is considered a stronghold of the Singh family as Vikramaditya's father, late Himachal Pradesh chief minister Virbhadra Singh, served several terms as the constituency's representative in Lok Sabha.

Another prominent Congress leader whose name figured on the latest list released by the party is MP Manish Tewari, who has been fielded from the Chandigarh Lok Sabha seat. The Congress party's latest candidate list comprises the names of candidates for Lok Sabha seats spread across Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Chandigarh, and Odisha. Besides, Vikramaditya Singh and Manish Tewari, the names of the following Congress leaders also featured on the list:

The voting for Lok Sabha election 2024 will be held across the nation in seven phases, from April 19 to June 1. The results will be announced on June 4.
