Lucknow Power Cut On November 8: The Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) has announced a four-hour power outage on Sunday, November 8. The power supply to four substations, including Loco Mavaiya, will be suspended for four hours tomorrow due to repair work on the main line.

The outage is expected to affect around two lakh consumers in the Aishbagh and Residency areas, Jagran.com reported. Authorities have advised residents to make necessary arrangements during this period.

Maintenance Work On 132kV Transmission Line

Alok Anand, Executive Engineer of the Transmission Unit, said that the repair work on the main line of the 132kV Tikait Rai Talab Transmission Substation will be carried out between 10 AM and 2 PM on Sunday, November 8, leading to a power outage in several areas.

The outage will affect several power substations, including UPIL, Mill Road Vaidya Steel, Talkatora Power House, Mavaiya Loco, Jagran.com quoted Anand as saying.

SK Sahu, Executive Engineer of Aishbagh, has announced that power supply to the Aishbagh substation will be temporarily suspended on Sunday. The shutdown is expected to affect 40,000 consumers in multiple areas, including Rajendranagar, Niwajkheda, Aishbagh, Khajuha, Motinagar, Basiratganj, Khurshedbagh, Durvijayganj, Ramnagar, Old Labour Colony, Bazarkhala, Haiderganj, Motijheel Colony, Bulaki Adda, Pandey Talab, Mill Road, Talkatora Industrial Area, and Karehta.

Authorities have advised residents in the affected regions to make necessary arrangements before 10 AM to manage essential power needs during the outage.
