A Malayalam film actress has filed a police complaint, alleging harassment by a male passenger aboard an Air India flight bound for Kochi. The incident reportedly took place on Tuesday during the flight from Mumbai.
On Tuesday night, the actress took to her social media platform, claiming that the fellow passenger involved was "inebriated and disruptive." In an Instagram post recounting the "disturbing incident," she expressed dissatisfaction with the airline's ground office and flight crew's response, deeming it "disappointing."

Despite reporting the incident to the air hostess, the only action taken was relocating her to another seat just before takeoff, the woman lamented.
Upon landing at the airport in Kochi, she reported the issue to the airport and airline authorities, who directed her to the police aid post. She also shared a copy of the complaint lodged via email with the local police on her Instagram page.
"The incident involved a passenger seated in 12 C, under the influence of alcohol switched his seat to 12 B with me (12 A) and initiated an argument with no logic, regarding the seat's location (window or aisle), the individual misbehaving, including inappropriate physical contact," she said.
Recounting the incident, she mentioned how the intoxicated passenger had taken her seat and engaged in a heated argument, accusing him of "misbehaving, including inappropriate physical contact."

"I promptly reported the matter to the air hostess on the flight. However, the only action taken was my relocation to a middle seat three, four rows ahead. Unfortunately, no measures were implemented against the harasser," she stated in the email complaint to the police.
Meanwhile, Nedumbassery police on Wednesday reported receiving an email from her, considering it her formal complaint.
"We are looking into the matter. We are trying to contact her to collect more details regarding the incident. However, we are yet to get her on the phone," an officer told PTI.
As of now, no case has been registered, and further actions will be decided after contacting her, he added.
