In the latest updates in the Meerut murder case, the two accused, identified as Damini and Tushar, revealed how they executed the murder after releasing a poisonous snake in the bed which bit the husband. Police said that the husband, identified as Atul Panwar, was rushed to the nearby Community Health Centre on Friday morning and was later declared dead.
Cops claimed that the two killed Panwar to claim an insurance amount of Rs 20 lakhs and then continue their illicit relationship without any obstruction.

The master plan
The investigation revealed that Damini researched about snakes and their characteristics on her mobile phone. While surfing, she came to know about the Karait snake, which usually enters houses at night and climbs on the bed. Knowing this, Tushar and Damini plotted a plan to kill Panwar through a snake bite, Jagran reported.
Tushar downloaded the image of the poisonous snake from the internet and showed it to two of his friends, Sonu and Uday, asking them to arrange the snake. He gave a sum of Rs 15,000 to a person, identified as Madari, to find the venomous reptile. Madari found the snake within a period of seven days.
Tushar and Damini then plotted a master plan. They kept the snake hungry for about two days. Damini mixed sleeping pills into her husband's milk to make him unconscious before releasing a poisonous snake onto the bed, where it bit him.
A Failed Attempt
The Meerut Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) said the investigation revealed that Damini was allegedly in a relationship with the school's driver, Tushar alias Nikki. Police claim the two first attempted to kill Atul by staging a road accident, but after that plan failed, they allegedly came up with another plot. She had conspired with her lover and two others to kill her husband.
