Meerut RRTS Sex Video: The Ghaziabad police registered an FIR after a young couple indulged in sex in Namo Bharat train on the Ghaziabad-Meerut section of the RRTS corridor last month. At least four different videos of the incident went viral on the internet last week.
The FIR was registered against both, the couple and the train operator identified as Rishabh. The operator was also removed from service on December 3, police said as quoted by a Hindustan Times report.
According to the FIR, the couple engaged in the sexual act inside the premium coach at around 4 pm on November 24. The train was headed from Duhai to Muradnagar.
"Our client, NCR Transport Corporation (NCRTC) on December 2 asked us to inquire into the usage of the phone by the train operator in the operator cab on November 24. During inquiry, it was found that the train operator, Rishabh (single name), used the mobile phone on his own without any information or permission. This is in complete violation of rules and permanent directions of the company,” stated the FIR lodged at Muradnagar police station, reported Hindustan Times.
The FIR further stated that the operator was dismissed since he made the video viral. According to the police, Rishab recorded the incident using his mobile from inside the train. This was also verified from the running parameters visible in the videos. As per the police, the couple could be from colleges located nearby the Namo Bharat train route.
In another update, the NCR Transport Corporation (NCRTC) is preparing to build a rapid rail corridor to ease and improve travel between Noida and Gurugram. The corridor will benefit Delhi as well as it will bypass the national capital entirely. The corridor will begin at IFFCO Chowk in Gurugram and will run till Greater Noida’s Surajpur.
The corridor will connect Delhi’s IGI Airport to Noida International Airport in Jewar via high-speed rail. A detailed project report (DPR) in this regard has been prepared and submitted to the Haryana Government.
As per a Times of India report, the draft report mentions that the stretch will cross Sector 54 and reach Faridabad’s Bata Chowk. It will then enter Sector 85-86 intersection and move towards Noida sectors 142/168. The train will end at Surajpur. The cost will be around Rs 15,000 crore for the six-station route project, as per TOI.
