MUDA Case: The Lokayukta police on Friday questioned Parvathi BM, wife of Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, in the MUDA site allotment case. Lokayukta officials informed that Parvathi was questioned for more than two hours. "Parvathi was summoned today, and the questioning went on for more than two hours," the Lokayukta official was quoted as saying by PTI.

Earlier, Lokayukta police on September 27 lodged an FIR against Siddaramaiah, his wife, brother-in-law Mallikarjuna Swamy, Devaraju—from whom Mallikarjuna Swamy purchased land and gifted it to her—and others. The FIRs were registered following a special court order on September 25. The order permitted the Lokayukta police to investigate the case. The order came a day after the High Court upheld the sanction granted by Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot to conduct an investigation against Siddaramaiah.
