Silver Jubilee Himalayan Food Fest: On the joyous occasion of the State Foundation Day Silver Jubilee Year, the Tourism Department is all set to organise a two-day Himalayan Food Festival on November 8 and 9 at the Flats Ground in the city. Preparations for the grand event have reached their final stage, promising an exciting culinary experience for locals and visitors alike.

The festival will showcase a diverse range of cuisines from authentic mountain (Pahadi) delicacies to popular international dishes prepared by renowned hotels and restaurants across the region. The event aims to promote the state’s rich food culture while highlighting the talent and creativity of local chefs.

Silver Jubilee Himalayan Food Fest: Check Venue, Timings

According to District Tourism Officer Atul Bhandari, the festival will be held on November 8 from 12 PM to 4 PM, and on November 9 from 10:30 AM to 3 PM at the basketball ground of the Flats. Various hotels will set up stalls to serve freshly prepared dishes to visitors during the event.

The Hotel Association has also launched a branding and outreach campaign to encourage participation from hotels and restaurants. Ruchir Sah, PRO of the Association, said that for the first time, the festival is being organized as a two-day event to mark the Silver Jubilee celebrations. “Special preparations are being made by hotel and restaurant owners to make the festival a memorable experience,” he added.
