Andhra government minister and Telugu Desam Party leader Nara Lokesh on Thursday trolled Siddaramaiah-led Karnataka government saying, "Andhra food is spicy and some of their investments too".
Google has announced that it will invest 15 Billion Dollars (Rs 87,520 Crore approx) in Andhra Pradesh. A new one Gigawatt data center and AI hub is expected to be built in Vishakhapatnam.
“They say Andhra food is spicy. Seems some of our investments are too. Some neighbours are already feeling the burn,” Nara Lokesh posted on X. Lokesh also used tags such as #AndhraRising #YoungestStateHighestInvestment.

Google’s decision to make a major investment in Andhra Pradesh has sparked criticism of the Karnataka government, with several opposition leaders taking aim at the ruling Congress party. The JD(S) argued that Bengaluru, also known as India’s Silicon City, was bypassed for the project because the state government failed to provide a conducive environment for business and investment.
The jibe comes amid heavy criticism, as videos showing the poor state of roads in Bengaluru went viral.
Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Wednesday defended the government’s efforts to restore the city’s damaged roads and unveiled a new action plan.
