How A Textile Engineer Pivoted To Aviation?

Aviation was not Machchhar's career plan. The 39-year-old captain pursued a textile engineering course intended to continue the family business. Later, he pursued management studies at the Welingkar Institute of Management in Mumbai. However, at the age of 19, an accidental attendance at an aviation seminar redirected his career.

The decision made his mother anxious, while his father calmly supported him. Then he went to New Zealand to continue his commercial pilot training. What was once a career change has now been the sole reason for saving 174 lives.
