- Chhattisgarh reports 9 new swine flu cases in the last 24 hours.
- Total swine flu infections reach 416 across the state this year.
- Raipur district leads with 176 cases, followed by Durg.
Swine flu infections are steadily rising across Chhattisgarh, with nine new cases reported in the last 24 hours. With the latest cases, the total number of swine flu infections recorded in the state so far this year has reached 416. Of these, 134 patients are currently active cases.
According to Health Department data as of September 12, 90 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals, while 44 are recovering at home.
Three New Cases Reported In Gariaband And Raigarh
As per the state surveillance unit IDSP, three new cases were detected in Gariaband and Raigarh within 24 hours, while one case each was detected in Durg, Koriya and Korba. No new infections were found in other districts, including the state capital Raipur and Bilaspur.
Raipur Records Highest Number Of Cases
So far, Raipur has topped the chart with 176 swine flu cases, followed by Durg with 49 and Bilaspur with 42 swine flu cases. Among the districts that followed, Korba has reported 24 swine flu cases, Raigarh has recorded 18 cases, Mahasamund has reported 17 cases, while Rajnandgaon has reported 11 cases. The tally of swine flu patients from other states has crossed 12.

The Health Department has asked not to neglect cold, cough and high fever symptoms due to changes in weather conditions. The affected persons have been asked to get checked at their nearby health centres.
