Delhi Traffic Advisory: The Delhi Traffic Police on Saturday issued a traffic advisory ahead of the India-Afghanistan T20I match at Arun Jaitley Stadium on September 13. The match is scheduled from 7 PM to 11:30 PM, with traffic restrictions, diversions, and parking rules in place from 2:00 PM to 11:45 PM.

Traffic Restrictions And Diversions

- Restrictions may be imposed on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, DDU Marg, Mirdard Chowk, and JLN Marg as required, with heavy goods vehicles restricted on designated stretches.

- Commuters are advised to avoid JLN Marg, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, Asaf Ali Road, and DDU Marg during peak spectator arrival and dispersal times and use alternate routes whenever possible.

Stadium Entry Gates Routes

Spectators have been advised to approach the venue through designated routes based on their entry gate numbers:

  • Gates 1-8: Access from Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg.
  • Gates 10-15: Access from JLN Marg, near the Ambedkar Stadium Bus Terminal.
  • Gates 16-18: Access from Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, near the petrol pump.

Parking Rules And Shuttle Services

General spectator parking is prohibited near the stadium, except for vehicles carrying a valid parking label. Parking is also strictly banned on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, DDU Marg, Mirdard Chowk, JLN Marg, and the Ring Road stretch between Rajghat and IP Flyover. Unauthorised vehicles will be towed and prosecuted.

  • Velodrome Road

Taxi Pick-Up And Drop-Off Points

App-based taxis have designated pick-up and drop-off points at Gate No. 2 (near Maulana Azad Medical College on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg) and Rajghat Chowk.
