Gurugram Road Rage: Gurugram has been in the news for the last couple of days after a gym owner hit his car into a woman biker, Siya. The incident created huge public outrage, yet it seems that the city does not learn any lesson, as another road rage case emerged on the Gurugram road. In the fresh incident, a man rammed his Mahindra Thar SUV repeatedly into a cab carrying two of his friends in Gurugram's Sector 89 area.
The dramatic incident, which took place late Friday night, left the three occupants shaken but unhurt. A video of the incident surfaced on social media. As the video went viral, the Kherki Daula police launched an investigation.
Four young men arrived in Sector 89 in a Delhi-registered Thar, said the eyewitnesses, adding that an argument broke out among them, following which two of the men got out of the SUV and booked a cab through the Rapido app to return home.

Thar Hits Cab Several Times
When the cab arrived and the two men got inside, their associate, who was driving the Thar, allegedly became enraged and started ramming the SUV into the cab. The Thar reversed after hitting the cab and rammed again. This continued several times.

The cab driver asked him to stop, but he continued ramming the vehicle. Both front airbags of the cab deployed, and its front portion was badly damaged. The cab driver and the two passengers escaped serious injuries.
Passersby and locals recorded the incident on their mobile phones, and the video subsequently went viral on social media. The cab driver later reported the matter to the Kherki Daula police station.
What Police Said
According to police, the accused driver and his associate had fled when cops reached the site. "Investigation so far has revealed that the Thar used in the incident is registered in Delhi. Based on its registration number, we are trying to identify its owner and the accused youths. The accused will be arrested soon," a senior police officer said.
