Which are 3 designated protest sites in Delhi?
Three new locations, including Ramlila Ground, Burari Ground, and CBD Ground in East Delhi, have been designated for organizing protests and demonstrations.
The latest order partially modifies an earlier standing order dated April 28, 2022, which governed designated protest locations in the national capital.
The change in protest venues comes as the past 10 days drew protests from the opposition, student groups, and pressure groups like CJP against alleged electoral irregularities and the SIR exercise.
Meanwhile, Delhi remains on high alert for the third consecutive day on Monday. Over 30,000 police and paramilitary personnel were deployed across the capital ahead of an opposition march to the Supreme Court, intensifying the agitation against CEC Gyanesh Kumar.
Weekend demonstrations against Kumar resulted in thousands of detentions, including leaders of the Cockroach Janta Party and former chief ministers.
INDIA Bloc MPs announced that they would march to the Supreme Court on Monday to demand an end to "vote chori" and the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC). Entry and exit gates at six Delhi Metro stations are set to remain closed until 4:00 PM due to the protests.

Security has been intensified at city borders, railway stations, bus terminals, and other sensitive sites to prevent unauthorized gatherings and maintain law and order, according to Delhi Police officials.
