Madhya Pradesh Weather Update: Despite the departure of the monsoon, heavy rainfall continues in several parts of Madhya Pradesh. According to the Meteorological Centre, showers were recorded across the Bhopal, Narmadapuram, Ujjain, Gwalior, Indore, Rewa, Jabalpur, Shahdol, Sagar, and Chambal divisions in the last 24 hours, up to 8:30 AM on Saturday.
In view of the weather conditions, the Meteorological Department has forecast rain and thunderstorms in several districts over the next 24 hours.

Lateri in Vidisha district received the highest rainfall during this period at 106.2 mm, while Kumbhraj in Guna recorded 97 mm. Other areas reporting rainfall include:
- Agar: 65 mm
- Guna: 50 mm
- Neemuch: 39 mm
- Mandsaur: 38 mm
- Amarkantak: 32 mm
- Chhindwara: 27 mm
- Harda: 22.8 mm
- Alirajpur: 22.2 mm
- Pachmarhi: 22 mm
- Umaria: 20.2 mm

The Meteorological Department has forecast rain and thunderstorms in several districts over the next 24 hours:
- Heavy Rain: Sehore, Dewas, Ashoknagar, Dindori, Seoni, Mandla, and Balaghat.
- Isolated Showers: Bhopal, Vidisha, Raisen, Rajgarh, Narmadapuram, Betul, Harda, Indore, Shajapur, Guna, Shivpuri, Anuppur, Shahdol, Umaria, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, and Pandhurna.
- Light to Moderate Rain: Burhanpur, Khandwa, Khargone, Barwani, Alirajpur, Jhabua, Dhar, Ratlam, Ujjain, Agar-Malwa, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Gwalior, Datia, Bhind, Morena, Sheopur, Singrauli, Sidhi, Rewa, Mauganj, Satna, Katni, Panna, Damoh, Sagar, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, Niwari, and Maihar.

A weather alert has been issued for multiple districts in western, central, and eastern Madhya Pradesh, including Bhopal, Vidisha, Raisen, Sehore, Rajgarh, Narmadapuram, Betul, and Harda, as well as the Vindhya, Bundelkhand, Mahakaushal, and Gwalior-Chambal regions. Residents in these regions are expected to experience thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds reaching speeds between 30 and 40 km/h during this period.
