Ahead of the session, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Monday that the Opposition is attempting to control the Parliament House through disruptions. Speaking to the media, PM Modi noted that it is those who have consistently been rejected by the people who are obstructing discussions in Parliament.

“Some people who have been rejected by the people are constantly trying to control the Parliament through hooliganism by a handful of people. The people of the country count all their actions and when the time comes, they also punish them," PM Modi said.
