An IndiGo flight, flying to Delhi from Patna, took a U-turn and made an emergency landing in Patna after a bird hit the plane. The flight was carrying 169 passengers, all of whom were disembarked safely after the plane made the landing at Patna airport. The bird hit caused technical issues, and the aircraft is currently undergoing repairs.

“An IndiGo flight suffered a bird hit near Ranchi. It was approximately 10 to 12 nautical miles away from here at an altitude of 3,000 to 4,000 feet when the incident occurred. The IndiGo flight was coming from Patna to Ranchi, and the pilot had to make an emergency landing here,” Birsa Munda Airport, Ranchi, Director R R Maurya told news agency PTI.

An IndiGo flight made an immediate landing on Tuesday after flight 6E 7295, scheduled to travel from Indore (IDR) to Raipur (RPR), faced a mid-air technical issue. 

As per Flightradar24, the flight was scheduled to depart at 6.35 am but took off slightly ahead of time at 6.28 am, and was scheduled to arrive at 8:30 am in Raipur, but it was diverted to Indore

An Air India flight was suspended on June 23 because of a bird hit. Flight AI 2455 from Thiruvananthapuram to Delhi was cancelled because Air India flight AI 2454 from Delhi to Thiruvananthapuram registered a suspected case of bird hit upon landing.
