Earlier, Starmer held a series of discussions with industry representatives, highlighting the India-UK trade partnership as ‘really important’. Speaking at an interaction with industry representatives, he said, "This is the biggest trade mission that the United Kingdom has ever sent to India."

The UK PM also announced that three major productions from India’s major film studio, Yash Raj Films (YRF), will be shot across the United Kingdom starting from 2026.
