Weather Alert: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a mix of weather conditions across the country in the coming days. While Delhi-NCR recently saw a spell of relatively cool weather, parts of Uttar Pradesh are likely to continue reeling under warm conditions. Most districts in UP are expected to see clear, sunny skies on Thursday with a further rise in temperatures. Several southern states are likely to receive rain, according to the IMD. Meanwhile, snowfall has begun in parts of the northern hill regions, marking a shift in mountain weather.
Delhi Weather
Delhi recently witnessed thunderstorms and rain, bringing a sudden relief from the heat and introducing a mild chill in the air. However, the IMD has forecast clear skies over Delhi until October 11. Despite the clear weather, cold winds are expected to persist, maintaining the slight nip in the air. On Thursday, the national capital will see a maximum temperature of 32 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 20 degrees Celsius.
Snowfall In The Mountains
Snowfall has begun in the mountains of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. Rainfall in Uttarakhand has brought down temperatures. Furthermore, the snowfall in the mountainous regions has broken a 30-year record. According to the IMD, scattered rain and thundershowers are expected on Thursday in Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar, and Pithoragarh districts of Uttarakhand.
