Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the ‘Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan’ (Healthy Woman, Empowered Family Campaign) on September 17, 2025, coinciding with his 75th birthday. The campaign aims to strengthen healthcare services for women and children across India, focusing on access, quality care and health awareness.

Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan: Where Will It Be Conducted

As part of the initiative, the government will organise 75,000 health camps nationwide. These will be conducted at Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, Community Health Centres (CHCs) and other government healthcare facilities. Doctors at the camps will provide services catering to the specific health needs of women and children.

Poshan Maah To Promote Nutrition

The campaign will also observe ‘Poshan Maah’ (Nutrition Month) at Anganwadis. This campaign is designed to improve nutrition, health awareness and overall well-being among children and women. Officials say these steps are part of the broader goal to build healthier families and empowered communities.

Union Health Minister JP Nadda urged private hospitals and healthcare partners to join the campaign and host health camps. The government has stated that the initiative shows the spirit of ‘India First’ and seeks collective participation to expand healthcare reach.

Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan: Duration and Access

The Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan will run from September 17 to October 2. All women and children are encouraged to visit the camps to receive healthcare services. Private hospitals may also host camps to increase coverage and ensure inclusive access.
