PM Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana Portal News: The government has launched the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Yojana Portal to benefit employers and first time employees, Union Minister on Labour and Employment informed as the site went live on Monday. PM Modi had announced the scheme during his address on Independence on August 15.

The scheme launched at an estimated cost of nearly Rs 1 lakh crore, aims to incentivise the creation of more than 3.5 crore jobs in the country in next two years. The scheme will apply to jobs created between August 1 2025 to July 31 2027.

What Is PM Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana Portal

- The Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana is an employment linked incentive scheme that promises to credit Rs 15,000 to the account to first time employees of the private sector.

- The PM Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana consists of two-parts, one for employees and another for employers. Under part A, one-time incentive equivalent to average one-month salary including (Basic+DA) of up to Rs 15,000 will be credited to first time employees in two installments.

- Employees will receive first installment after retaining the job for six months, and the second installment will be received after completing 12 months of service and a financial literacy program.

- The second or Part B of the PM Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana will benefit employers for generating Jobs. Under the part B of the scheme, organizations will get Rs 3,000 in addition to each employee for a sustained time period of 6 months. This will include two types of employee category- first timer and re-joiners.

- For employers the time period for the scheme is two-years but for organisations working in the manufacturing section, it will last for four years.

How To Register On PM Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana Portal

-One avail the benefit under Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana by either registering on the PM Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana portal or by uploading their UAN number on the UMANG App.

- When you start your first job, the company will register you under the Employees' Provident Fund Organization (EPFO).

- The company will provide your EPF number and details. They'll also submit your documents and basic information (Aadhaar, bank account, salary slip, etc.) on the EPFO portal.

- You'll be automatically included in the scheme.

- You can track your application and installment status through the EPFO portal or mobile app.

- The EPFO system will verify your eligibility, including:

- 1 Whether it's your first job

- 2 Whether your salary is less than Rs 1 lakh per month

- 3 Whether you've completed 6 months of continuous service
